TelePile

TelePile® is an economic foundation alternative for embankments on low-bearing capacity soils. TelePile® consists in a geotextile encased column aimed for piling in geotechnical applications. Driven into the soil by a pilling rig, TelePile® acts as a sleeve to confine the inserted materials, sand, gravel, crushed stone fill or concrete.

TelePile® are used on low-bearing capacity soils when building roads, railways and other structures. They are designed to transfer the load applied on the embankments to a strong bearing base, through soft soil. The casing effect of the TelePile® enables construction of columns in soft soils where standard columns/piles cannot be built because of an insufficient lateral support. TelePile® are efficient on soft soils when a foundation with low settlement is required to achieve a short construction time.

TelePile® is available in 2 versions:
• With seams on the edges when low strengths are required. It this case TelePile is weaved in polyester,
• A round woven seamless pile weaved in polyester. Higher strengths can be achieved with a seamless pile.

TelePile® is a product made according customer requirements with a wide range of type of fabrics, strengths, diameters and lengths.

Piling Geo

Piling is a deep foundation technique, which consists in drilling and driving into the soil some piles, according to a designed piling grid.

Once driven, a pile cap is embedded within the heads of each pile to distribute the load on a larger area than a single pile can support. A significant advantage of driving piles compare to drilling shafts is, at the same time piles are driven, the soil displaced compressed the surrounding soil causing greater friction against the sides of the piles, thus increasing their load-bearing capacity.

With the TeleTube, Tele Textiles offer a cost-effective alternative and efficient solution to steel pipes for piling and micropiling (or geotechnical) application.
